NJ Racewalking Grand Prix
The 2006 NJ Racewalking Grand Prix got underway at the USATF Indoor Championships with the 3000m walk on 3/4. The Grand Prix champion is determined by points based on finish at each event. The rest of the schedule is:

9/10 USATF 40km Ocean Township
12/30 Polar Bear 10 mile Asbury Park

This past weekend, Shore AC's Panse Geer finished second W55 at the USATF National Masters Indoor 3000m walk in 17:52.39. John Fredericks was second racewalker at the Winter Park, Fl 10km in 58:27, while closer to home, improving Rich Leuttchau took the measure of Shore vet John Soucheck in 13:56 over 3000m at the Richard Stockton Invitational.

In last weekend's Osprey Open Panse Geer walked a strong 17:29 for the 3000 meters.
